Paul Colangelo is a photographer specializing in environmental issues, wildlife and the crossroads of culture and the natural world.
Paul is a National Geographic grantee and an Associate Fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers.
Long-term Projects
Surviving Todagin tells the story of the world’s largest lambing herd of Stone’s sheep and the uncertain future of its habitat. Supported by National Geographic, this project is in progress.

Sacred Headwaters, Sacred Journey is a survey of the culture, wildlife and landscape of the little-known and imperiled Sacred Headwaters region in northern British Columbia. Paul photographed the traditional Tahltan territory over two years and participated in the ILCP Sacred Headwaters RAVE (Rapid Assessment Visual Expedition). Paul is a contributing photographer for Sacred Headwaters: The Fight to Save the Stikine, Skeena and Nass by Wade Davis.
