Colorado Plateau
I had the opportunity to hike the rim-to-rim trail through the Grand Canyon with a geologist, whose commentary of our surroundings made the landscape come alive. I was amazed by this landscape that was unlike anything I had ever seen and soon returned to the area to explore more of the Colorado Plateau. Spanning four states, it has the highest concentration of national parks in the US.
